Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive educational team in Houston, Texas for the 20252026 school year.
This on-site, school-based position is ideal for a clinician passionate about empowering students to communicate, connect, and thriveboth in and out of the classroom.

W-2 Contract | $40 $50 per hour (based on experience and certification)

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K12 students

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

Provide direct therapy services and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff

Support classroom communication strategies and student participation

Document therapy sessions, maintain progress reports, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Participate in IEP meetings and team-based planning sessions
Qualifications
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active or pending Texas SLP license required

ASHA CCC-SLP preferred (Clinical Fellows welcome to apply)

Previous school-based experience preferred

Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
